One of Sunseeker’s more popular models during her production years, the Camargue 44 is a well-equipped sportcruiser with a large cockpit and a very inviting interior. Like all Sunseekers, the Camargue rides on a smooth-riding deep-V hull with propeller tunnels, and the standard of fit and finish is very good for a production yacht. The Camargue’s spacious cockpit is fitted with a full-size sunlounge as well as a wet bar and seating for eight around a folding dining table. Below, the luxurious midcabin interior is dominated by a stunning array of high-gloss cherry woodwork, top-quality appliances, and rich designer furnishings. With a master stateroom forward and a twin-berth aft, both with ensuite facilities, the greatest amount of space has been saved for the salon amidships. Additional features include wide, secure side decks, an extended swim platform, foredeck fender storage, a drop-down helm seat, teak cockpit sole, bow thruster, and an underwater exhaust system. Note that the anchor windlass is stored inside the rode locker. A solid performer, twin 420hp Caterpillar diesels cruise in the mid 20s and reach a top speed in excess of 30 knots.
