Introduced in 2004, sleek styling and a very competitive price combined to make the Silverton 34 Convertible the top-selling midsize convertible of her day. She is the fifth in a series of 34-foot convertibles Silverton produced over the years, and with her broad 13'10"" beam she’s also the roomiest. Indeed, the Silverton’s well-appointed cherry interior seems enormous for a boat this size. The salon—with its built-in entertainment center and L-shaped dinette to port and Ultraleather sleeper sofa opposite—rivals many larger boats in size and comfort. Forward, the roomy midlevel galley features a full-size refrigerator, Corian counters, hardwood flooring, and tons of storage above and below. An angled double berth is forward in the private master stateroom, and the midship guest stateroom to port has over/under berths. The head compartment is split with the shower stall to starboard and toilet and vanity to port. A transom door, rod holders, and in-deck fish box are standard in the cockpit, and molded fiberglass steps lead up to the flybridge. Note that a bridge overhang shades the forward part of the cockpit. No lightweight, Crusader 8.1L 330hp gas inboards cruise the Silverton 34 at 16–18 knots (mid 20s top).

A updated version of the boat she replaced in 1991, the widespread popularity of the Silverton 34 Convertible can be traced to her successful blend of modern styling, roomy accommodations, and a very competitive price. The 34 was designed as an entry-level boat for fishing, cruising, and entertaining, and her open-plan interior makes good use of the wide 12'11"" beam. Including the convertible salon sofa, convertible dinette, and island berth in the forward stateroom, there are sleeping accommodations for six adults in the Silverton 34. An entertainment center is opposite the sofa in the salon, and sliding salon windows provide excellent ventilation. Down three steps from the salon, the galley is equipped with stove, microwave oven, full-sized refrigerator, and numerous storage drawers and cabinets. Forward of the galley is the large head with separate stall shower. A choice of light oak or cherry wood accents were available. An alternate (less popular) two-stateroom floorplan was optional. In contrast to her spacious interior and roomy flybridge, the cockpit dimensions of the Silverton 34 are modest. Crusader 320hp gas inboards cruise at 18–20 knots.

Third in a series of 34-foot convertibles produced by Silverton over the years, the Silverton 34 Convertible is a mid-tier cruiser whose surprisingly affordable price included a long list of standard equipment. Rakish styling distinguishes her from most other convertibles her size, and the Silverton’s interior is as practical as it is Spartan. From the cockpit, a sliding glass door opens into the salon with convertible sofa to starboard and entertainment center to port. While the salon dimensions are not especially generous, large wraparound windows and light oak cabinets add to the impression of space. The galley with microwave and solid surface counters is forward and down three steps to port. A convertible dinette is opposite the galley, and the forward stateroom has a centerline double berth, sliding privacy door, and head with separate stall shower. A lower helm was optional. Rod holders and a transom door are standard in the cockpit. Topside, the flybridge features two captain’s chairs and seating for two forward of the helm console. Standard 350hp Crusader gas engines cruise the Silverton 34 Convertible at 18–20 knots.
