Introduced in 2004, sleek styling and a very competitive price combined to make the Silverton 34 Convertible the top-selling midsize convertible of her day. She is the fifth in a series of 34-foot convertibles Silverton produced over the years, and with her broad 13'10"" beam she’s also the roomiest. Indeed, the Silverton’s well-appointed cherry interior seems enormous for a boat this size. The salon—with its built-in entertainment center and L-shaped dinette to port and Ultraleather sleeper sofa opposite—rivals many larger boats in size and comfort. Forward, the roomy midlevel galley features a full-size refrigerator, Corian counters, hardwood flooring, and tons of storage above and below. An angled double berth is forward in the private master stateroom, and the midship guest stateroom to port has over/under berths. The head compartment is split with the shower stall to starboard and toilet and vanity to port. A transom door, rod holders, and in-deck fish box are standard in the cockpit, and molded fiberglass steps lead up to the flybridge. Note that a bridge overhang shades the forward part of the cockpit. No lightweight, Crusader 8.1L 330hp gas inboards cruise the Silverton 34 at 16–18 knots (mid 20s top).
