A relatively popular model during her production years, the Sea Ray 340 Sedan Bridge is a roomy flybridge sedan whose rakish styling attracted a good many entry-level buyers. Clearly dated by today’s Euro-style standards, the Sedan Bridge succeeded in her objective of providing comfortable accommodations and good handling in an affordable and well-engineered package. Built on the same deep-V hull used in the production of the 340 Express Cruiser, the single-stateroom interior of the Sedan Bridge is arranged with the galley and dinette down from the salon. A lower helm was a popular option, and a separate stall shower is found in the head. With the salon settee and dinette converted, there are overnight accommodations for six adults. The galley, opposite the dinette on the lower level, is very spacious and so is the stateroom. On deck, the cockpit is too small for any serious fishing, and the flybridge, with the helm forward and bench seating aft, is small as well. A transom door, cockpit steps, and swim platform were standard. Twin 350hp gas engines (with V-drives) will cruise the Sea Ray 340 Sedan Bridge at 20 knots with a top speed of around 30 knots.
