An updated version of Sea Ray’s earlier 310/330 Sundancer (1990–94), the Sea Ray 330 is a more stylish boat than her predecessor with increased fuel capacity and a redesigned hull bottom. The styling was cutting edge in her day, and her modified-V hull carries a bit less transom deadrise than previous Sea Ray express boats. Below decks, the interior follows the standard Sundancer formula with a midcabin berth aft, full galley, convertible dinette, standup head with shower, and a double berth forward. Privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin, and three hanging lockers provide plenty of storage. In the cockpit, a four-person bench seat across the transom faces a smaller, aft-facing one behind the helmsman, and the gap can be filled to produce a large sun pad. Additional features include a transom door, cockpit wet bar, good engine access, transom storage locker, and wide side decks. Available with sterndrive or inboard power, twin 330hp MerCruiser sterndrives cruise the 330 Sundancer in the high 20s and reach a top speed of 35+ knots, and twin 310hp V-drive inboards cruise in the mid 20s and top out in the low 30s.

Graceful family cruiser from the late 1990s combined rakish styling with roomy accommodations and a good turn of speed.

Open-plan interior boasts posh seating, fully equipped galley, large head with shower. Ergonomic helm features deluxe burlwood dash, tilt steering, room for extra electronics. Transom storage locker is a plus.

Slender side decks require caution.

Twin 310hp MerCruiser V-drive inboards cruise at 22 knots (30+ knots top). MerCruiser 300hp I/Os run a few knots faster.
