Traditional design and boatbuilding excellence are joined in the Sabreline 36 Sedan, a Maine-built cruising yacht whose classic styling will endure for decades to come. She’s built on the same fully cored, vacuum-bagged hull used for Sabreline’s popular 36 Express with prop pockets and a substantial 18 degrees of transom deadrise. The cherrywood interior of the Sabreline 36 might best be described as understated elegance—a practical galley-down, single-stateroom layout, finely finished and tastefully appointed. Wraparound windows surround the salon where a fully equipped lower helm (with a deck access door) is standard and a convertible L-shaped settee is to port. Forward, the spacious stateroom has a centerline queen berth and direct access to the double-entry head with its circular shower enclosure. The cockpit has a transom door and a wet bar as well as three storage lockers under the sole, and the flybridge is well arranged with the helm forward and guest seating aft. Note that the Sabreline’s large engine room provides good service access to the motors. Expect a cruising speed of 25–26 knots with optional 370hp Yanmar diesels (close to 30 knots top).
