Regulator described the 29 FS (Forward Seating) as a bluewater fishing machine that meets the demands of sportsmen who desire superior performance... Few, it seems, would argue with that characterization. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull designed by naval architect Lou Codega, the 29 FS is a top-tier center console with classic Regulator lines. A focal point of the 29 FS is the helm that offers a full-array of electronics storage and wiring access from inside the console. The console unit also houses a marine toilet with 6'3"" headroom and finished fiberglass interior. The aft cockpit is wide open and clean, with ample room for the crew to fish and work together. With a 30-gallon transom livewell, twin 200-quart in-seat fish boxes, and 520 quart in-deck fish box, the Regulator has the storage capacity of many larger boats. In addition, there's a 64-quart cooler beneath the forward console seat and moving aft two side lockers that each hold a five-gallon bucket. The forward in-deck fish box doubles as a rod locker. Note the wide forward gunwales. An open bow model was available until 2010. With 285-gallons of fuel, the Regulator 29 has excellent range. Yamaha 250s reach 45 knots top.
