The PT 52 Cockpit MY is a popular Taiwan import with a clean-cut profile and surprisingly expansive interior accommodations. The PT 52 is basically a PT 46 Sundeck with a cockpit extension. The PT 52 is well built boat: her solid fiberglass hull doesnt pound excessively when the seas pick up; the finish is as good or better than many Asian imports of her era; and her handcrafted teak interior imparts a sense of luxury that many boaters find irresistible. With her moderate 15'9"" beam, shes is not the biggest 52-footer on the block but the added versatility provided by her roomy cockpit cant be ignored. Offered with several floorplans, a two-stateroom layout with the galley down provides a very comfortable salon and features a booth-style dinette as well. An alternate three-stateroom plan has the galley to starboard in the salon. A lower helm is standard, and large salon windows provide panoramic views of the water. A teak-and-holly sale runs throughout the boat. Wide side decks are a plus. A hardtop, bow pulpit, swim platform were standard. Cummins 270hp diesels cruise at 1415 knots, and 375hp Cat diesels cruise at 18 knots.
