The PT 35 is a practical and well-built sedan cruiser with a stylish profile and a traditional all-teak interior. Like all of the PT designs, the 35 Sedan was built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with a shallow keel and a serviceable beam for her length. A pair of single-stateroom floorplans were available during her production run, and both came with a built-in salon settee and a lower helm with a deck access door. While the salon can seat six in comfort, the dimensions are somewhat modest thanks to the wide side decks and sizable cockpit. Additional features of the PT 35 Sedan include an extended flybridge with overhangs, teak-and-holly cabin sole, separate stall shower in the head (a big plus in any cruiser), transom door, swim platform, radar arch, and very little exterior teak trim. Several engine options were available including both single- and twin-diesel applications. She may look like a trawler, but with a single 200hp Perkins she’ll achieve a top speed of 12–13 knots. Twin-diesel models can reach about 18 knots.
