A popular sterndrive model, the Pro-Line 3250 Express (called the 32 Express in 2000–02) combines the features of a good fishing boat with the cabin amenities of a family cruiser. Express boats like the 32 have long been popular with anglers who want the cockpit space of a well-equipped fishing boat with the amenities of a small family cruiser. Her midcabin floorplan is arranged with double berths fore and aft, a convertible U-shaped dinette, and a small head compartment with shower. Two opening ports and a pair of deck hatches provide ventilation, and the aft stateroom can be closed off with an accordion door. On deck, there’s space in the dash for an array of electronics, and fish boxes are located beneath the bridge deck settee and the aft-facing cockpit seat. Fishing features include a transom bait station with livewell and sink, bolster padding, tackle drawers, lockable rod storage, and transom door. The absence of an integrated swim platform really shows her age. Twin 310hp MerCruiser (or Volvo) sterndrives cruise in the high 20s and reach a top speed of 40+ knots.
