The Pro-Line 2950 Mid Cabin is easily one of the most popular express fishing boats her size ever produced. Hundreds were sold in the 1990s, and they remain popular on the used market today. The 2950 is a roomy boat thanks to her wide 10'10"" beam, but what really made her different was the midcabin layout, something rarely seen in a boat designed for fishing. Available with sterndrive or outboard power, the 2950’s large cockpit and roomy helm deck can accommodate a small crowd. Note that the Pro-Line 30/31 Walkaround (2000–05) is the same boat with an integrated transom. Also note that wood-free construction began in 1995. Standard features include a transom livewell, cockpit bolsters, in-deck fish boxes, tackle storage, trim tabs, raw-water washdown, gunnel rod holders, rod storage racks, bow pulpit w/roller, cockpit rod storage, transom door, cockpit lights. The 2950’s roomy midcabin interior sleeps four and includes an enclosed head/shower, full-service galley with microwave, and convertible dinette/V-berth forward. Heavily built (and not noted for her fuel efficiency), Yamaha 225 outboards reach a top speed of close to 40 knots.
