Introduced in 2006, the Pro-Line 29 is a durable offshore express whose chief attributes (aside from a moderate price) are a versatile deck layout and roomy midcabin interior. Boaters who enjoy cruising as well as fishing will find much to like in this mid-tier boat. Like all Pro-Lines of her era, hull construction is solid fiberglass, and a wide 9'8"" beam provides a large fishing cockpit with room for two anglers to fish without bumping elbows. Standard features include a molded bow pulpit, 35-gallon standup livewell (behind the captains chair), cockpit bolsters, in-deck fish boxes (macerated), foldaway transom seat, gunnel rod holders, built-in tackle storage, cockpit rod racks, transom door, tilt wheel, trim tabs, raw-water washdown, cockpit lights, center windshield vent, and dive ladder. Below deck, the few-frills interior of the 29 Express includes a galley with fridge and microwave, generous storage, and a large head/shower compartment. Two kids (or one adult) can sleep in the midberth aft, and the convertible dinette/V-berth forward sleeps two adults. Twin 225hp Verado outboards reach a top speed of close to 45 knots.
