When the Princess V70 was launched in 2004 it ranked among the largest hardtop cruisers available. The big story on this yacht is two aft garages for watertoys and an oversize submersible boarding platform that together make the Princess V70 an outdoor entertainment platform unlike any other in this class. Triple sliding glass doors open from the cockpit to a spacious salon with a U-shaped settee with folding table to starboard, a beautifully crafted cherry cabinet with concealed wine bar with refrigerator and bottle storage opposite, and an electrically opening hardtop sunroof. Below decks there are ensuite accommodations for six in a full beam master suite with king bed and loveseat, forward double VIP cabin and portside guest twin. A separate crew quarter aft provides additional living space. Twin double sunbeds on the large aft deck lead to an open air cockpit and dining area with wet bar, ice maker and BBQ, Bow and stern thrusters and an opening side door at the helm make shorthanded maneuvering a breeze. MAN 1,360hp engines cruise at 32–33 knots and reach top speed of 38 knots. (Note that the V70 marketed in the U.S. as the Viking Sport Cruiser.)
