Following on the success of the 500 and 550 models, the Prestige 450 is a stylish midsize cruiser with IPS propulsion and innovative twin stateroom accommodations. Entering from the cockpit through double-wide glass doors, the galley is aft where its convenient to the cockpit. Forward and one (high) step up, the salon has a settee to port with a table that is electrically lowered. Opposite is a small sofa. Perhaps of the most attractive feature of the Prestige 450 is the private entrance to the master stateroom. Accessed from a companionway to the port side of the galley, the full beam master features a queen-sized berth positioned athwartships with the head against the port side. Hull side windows allow natural light as well as panoramic views of the water. The berth in the forward VIP stateroom separates and comes together, like a pair of scissors. Access to the engine room is through a hatch in the cockpit sole. The central transom bench seat in the cockpit allows boarding from either side. Teak steps and dual hand rails provide secure access to the flybridge. A hydraulic bathing platform in standard. Volvo 435hp IPS600 pod drive diesels cruise in the mid 20s (30 knots top).
