The Packet Craft 360 Express was built by sailboat-manufacturer Island Packet Yachts, a company with a long reputation for producing high-quality boats. The 360 Express represents a distinctive blend of classic beauty and traditional cruising elegance. Built on a modified-V hull, deep prop pockets allow the engines to lie almost flat beneath the cockpit sole. The 12-foot beam of the 360 Express—slender compared with many of today’s mega-beam designs—makes for an easily driven and fuel efficient hull. The bridge deck (which lifts on hydraulic rams for access to the engines) is arranged with an L-shaped settee opposite the helm, and opening forward and side windows provide plenty of ventilation on hot days. Additional guest seating is found in the cockpit, and wide side decks make foredeck access safe and secure. Below decks, a teak-and-holly cabin sole and varnished teak woodwork highlight the 360’s elegant single-stateroom interior. Additional features include an integral swim platform and bow pulpit, eight opening ports, transom door, and side-dumping exhausts. Twin 370hp Yanmar diesels cruise the Packet Craft in the mid 20s (30 knots top)
