Derived from the company’s popular 35 Super Sport, the Ocean 35 Sport Fish blended the familiar Ocean lines of the early 1990s into an affordable express configuration with a sweeping windshield and lots of deck space. The Sport Fish rides on a low-deadrise, modified-V hull with cored hullsides and relatively high freeboard at the bow. The midcabin interior includes a separate forward stateroom with a centerline double berth, a second double berth amidships (under the helm), and a convertible lounge/dinette in the salon. The elevated helm deck is arranged with a pair of facing passenger lounges and twin pedestal seats at the helm, while the cockpit came with covering boards and a transom door. Additional standard features included air conditioning, a generator, fresh- and saltwater washdowns, cockpit rod storage, and a swim platform. Note that a sistership, the Ocean 35 Sport Cruiser (same production years), is the same boat with additional cockpit seating and leisure amenities. Twin 320hp gas engines cruise at 22–23 knots and exceed 30 knots wide open. Optional 300hp Cummins diesels cruise around 26 knots with a top speed of 29–30 knots.
