The Nordhavn 60 is a lengthened version of the Nordhavn 55, one of the best-selling models in the Nordhavn fleet. The N60 gives owners an additional 5 feet of space in the cockpit and lazarette, allowing more room for diving, fishing and dockside socializing. The longer cockpit also allows the boat deck to be extended for a larger tender, jet skis, or other water toys. An additional benefit of the longer hull length is a slight speed gain, about a third of a knot. Like the N55, the N60’s asymmetrical cabin allows for a wide main salon and galley, leaving the only side deck on the starboard side. With premium home-style appliances, abundant storage cabinets, and plenty of counter space, the galley will please the most demanding chef. The amidships owner's stateroom is on the same level as the galley where the boat’s motion is least objectionable. (Note the tub in the ensuite head.) Forward is a roomy guest cabin with a double berth, office area, and private head with stall shower. The N60’s ship-like pilothouse includes a private stateroom and head. Available in single or twin-engine configurations, a single Lugger 340hp diesel provides an 8-knot cruising range of 2,500+ miles.
