The Nordhavn 52 is an extended version of the Nordhavn 47. According to the Nordhavn website, the N52 differs from the 47 in three notable areas: larger cockpit, increased fuel capacity, and lengthened upper level dimensions. The result is a sleeker and faster vessel with more interior space than her predecessor and about 500 miles of additional range—from 3,000 to 3,500 nautical miles. Entering from the cockpit through a weathertight Dutch door, a crescent-shaped settee is to starboard in the salon and a straight settee is to port. The galley is forward in the salon, to port, across from the pilothouse steps. To starboard and forward from the pilothouse are steps down to the landing for access to the master and guest staterooms. Forward of the landing are two guest staterooms and aft of the landing is the master cabin with queen berth and direct access to the engine room. With the asymmetrical layout of the N52, the interior space on the port side extends all the way to the coaming while to starboard there are side decks for access to the Portuguese Bridge. A single 164hp Lugger diesel (and 40hp Lugger wing engine) is standard, and a 265hp Deere engine is optional.
