The Neptunus 65 is a semi-custom mini-megayacht with the imposing profile of a larger, tri-deck motor yacht. (Note that the superstructure was completely revised during the 2000 model year.) She’s heavily built on a solid fiberglass hull with prop pockets to reduce draft, and a near 19-foot beam provides the Neptunus 65 with one of the roomiest interiors in her class. Entering the salon through a large stainless steel framed sliding door, an L-shaped leather sofa is to port in the salon and two barrel chairs are to starboard. Large oval shaped windows (four on each side) along with the aft bulkhead glass wall fill the interior with natural day lighting. Forward of the salon to port is the galley with granite counters. A lower helm was optional—in its place, a U-shaped dining settee is forward of the galley. On the lower level, the amidships master stateroom is huge (note that the ensuite head compartment is aft of the stateroom bulkhead). The extended flybridge provides space for a tender and open-air settee abaft the pilothouse. Crew quarters are located aft under the aft deck with access through a watertight door in transom. Cat 3412 1400hp diesels cruise at 24–25 knots (high 20s top).
