The Navigator 58 Pilothouse is a spacious, moderately priced pilothouse cruiser introduced in 1999. Like all Navigator yachts, the 58 rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a long keel and generous 17'4"" beam. The Navigator’s floorplan is arranged with the galley on the pilothouse level rather than in the salon, thus effectively separating the galley from the primary entertainment/lounge area. Accommodations include three staterooms on the lower level including a full beam master suite with private salon access. The forward VIP stateroom has an island queen berth, and the second guest cabin to port has over/under bunks. Both guest staterooms share a single head with separate stall shower. An L-shaped sofa is to starboard in the Navigator 58’s full beam salon with its high-gloss woodwork, deep pile carpeting, and built-in entertainment system. Up two steps, the pilothouse combines the galley, dining area, and lower helm position. Additional features include inside and outside flybridge access, starboard side pilothouse deck door, washer/dryer, lazarette storage. Twin 485hp GM 6-71 diesels cruise at 17–18 knots (20+ top). Note that a new, limited production Navigator 5800 Pilothouse came out in 2007.
