Europe’s Powerboat Of The Year in 2011, the Jeanneau NC 11 was a truly innovative boat with multifunction deck furniture and a unique side-deck design. This a well-conceived boat with attractive features and a somewhat unique layout. The salon has two settees facing each other across the large dinette table. The forward settee swings up and away to form a forward facing seat while the back of the aft settee pivots to orient the salon towards the cockpit. The helm is on the port side (unusual) and has sliding door to make single-handed docking easy. The entire salon has been offset to create a wide passageway along the port side of the boat. There are two staterooms below including a guest cabin with a twin beds and privacy door and a forward cabin with island bed. There is copious storage space below the salon sole, and the NC 9’s large hull side windows flood the forward stateroom with natural light. There are three sliding glass panels across the back of the cabin that open up to the cockpit where the aft bench seat is set on rails and slides to increase cockpit space. A lightweight and fuel efficient boat, twin 200hp Volvo D3 sterndrive diesels cruise at 22–24 knots (30 top).
