With her sleek profile and many innovative features, the Horizon V68 is easily among the most interesting motor yachts in its class. Because Horizon is a semi-custom builder, the V68 offers several three or four stateroom layouts to choose from, as well as various configurations for all three decks including an open or enclosed bridge. With a generous 19'5"" beam, the interior is palatial for a yacht this size. The standard three stateroom/three en suite head layout features an enormous aft salon open to the aft deck and a spacious country kitchen galley forward. A lower helm position is optional on the main deck level. The V68’s plumb bow is unique — aside from increasing the yacht’s waterline length, it creates an especially spacious forward VIP stateroom. An extended swim platform is mounted to the transom, and a staircase leads from the aft deck up to the flybridge. The Horizon’s most innovative feature is the optional “beach club” down three steps from the swim platform, a superyacht-inspired retreat with L-shaped settee and mini-galley concealed behind a watertight transom door. Twin Caterpillar 1136hp C18 V-drive diesels cruise at 16–18 knots (mid 20s top).
