Four Winns 318 Vista; V335

Introduced in 2006, the Four Winns 318 Vista (called the V335 in 2010–13) is a spirited, high-end express whose sleek styling is a match for the best European sport cruisers. While she wasn’t the largest boat in the Four Winns fleet, the 318 is certainly among the most comfortable. Built on a modified-V hull with a relatively steep 19 degrees of deadrise aft, her tastefully furnished interior—with its high-gloss cherry joinery, faux granite counter, and plush upholstery—seems large for a boat this size. The pull-out galley storage is a nice touch, and the U-shaped settee in the midcabin features a removable table. Privacy curtains separate the fore and aft sleeping areas from the main cabin. On the downside, the companionway steps are steep and caution is required while using them underway. Topside, the user-friendly cockpit includes U-shaped rear seating (with removable dining table), portside lounger, hot-and-cold shower, and wet bar with sink and icemaker. Note the convenient transom locker for fenders, shore cord, etc. An excellent performer with Volvo 280hp gas I/Os, the 318 Vista will cruise at nearly 30 knots and deliver a top speed of 38–40 knots.
