Introduced in 2005, the Fleming 65 is very similar in concept to the 55 but, being around 70% larger in displacement, offers much more interior and deck space than her smaller sibling. While she has the same long keel of previous Fleming designs, the 65 has flatter aft sections for improved speed while prop pockets reduce the draft for cruising in the islands. The interior layout features a large full-beam owners stateroom with ensuite head and shower and a walk-in wardrobe. A writing desk and/or settee can be included on the port or starboard side. Two port lights on each side provide ample light and ventilation. The forward VIP cabin can be ordered with an island queen berth or twin V-berths. The port cabin can be ordered with an office layout. With no fixed furniture, the cockpit is unusually spacious for a yacht this size. The side decks are covered, and the Portuguese bridge has doors on both sides as well as built-in storage. The flybridge is accessed either from the pilothouse or a ladder from the cockpit. The helm station is raised on the port side and a U-shaped sofa and table to starboard seats six. The aft boat-deck will accommodate a large tender. MAN 800hp diesels cruise at 1415 knots.
