Styling and performance—signature components of every Ferretti yacht—were much in evidence in 2003 with the introduction of the Ferretti 590. The Ferretti Group was a powerful boating conglomerate in those years, and the 590 was further proof of the company’s engineering and production excellence. Below deck, the executive-class accommodations of the 590 feature a spacious main salon with L-shaped leather sofa to port and entertainment center/glass storage cabinet to starboard. The sunken galley—common in most European motoryachts of this era—is small by American standards and short on storage. There are four staterooms and heads on the lower level, including an opulent amidships master and an equally large VIP suite forward. Crew quarters are reached from a door in the galley, and there’s a tiny fifth stateroom accessible from the cockpit. Note the jet bike garage within the swim platform. Additional features include a laundry center, granite galley counters, electronic engine controls, and teak decks. MAN 1,050hp engines deliver a cruising speed of 24–25 knots (about 30 knots top).
