More than a few industry professionals view Everglades as the BMWs of center consoles. Hands down, these people know how to build a quality offshore fishing boat. Introduced in 2006 as the 260 Center Console (and called the 270 Center Console in 2008–10), this popular model was marketed as the 275 Center Console after 2011. Designed with plenty of space for family and friends, there are comfortable seats at the stern, helm, and forward of the console. The integrated T-top/console, with its wraparound windshield, offers outstanding helm protection in all kinds of weather. Standard features include a leaning post/bolster seat with 66-gallon livewell, bait rigging station (updated on the 275 model), lockable rod storage, a fold-down transom seat, docking lights, and powder-coated railings. The slide-out cooler is a nice touch. The transom seat lifts for access to the batteries and thru-hulls. Note that the console/hardtop design was updated in the 275 model, and the helm seats are wider. The foam-filled hull is unsinkable. The fit and finish of the 275 is very, very impressive. Not inexpensive, the top speed is about 45 knots with twin Yamaha 250s.
