Endeavour’s best selling model for several years, the 44 TrawlerCat is all about space and comfort. Catamarans are wonderful boats for living aboard and cruising and the TrawlerCat’s spacious three-stateroom two-head layout offers exceptional volume for a boat this size. Available with the galley up or down, most 44’s were delivered with the galley down in the port hull rather than in the salon. From the helm deck, the cabin is entered through the companionway and down three steps. As you enter the salon, an L-shaped settee with folding dinette table is forward to starboard. Opposite to port is a storage locker forward with a small settee just aft. The master stateroom (with a centerline double berth) is forward of the salon, accessed via a door to port. The master head is down in the starboard-side hull and a dressing area is in the port hull. One guest stateroom is aft in each hull. Topside features include a huge full-beam foredeck, semi-enclosed lower helm, very wide side decks and a large cockpit with lazarette storage. Each hull has a watertight collision bulkhead forward and the props are recessed to prevent damage in a grounding. Yanmar 240hp diesels cruise at 14–15 knots.
