A pair of near look-alikes, the Cruisers 3260 and 3270 Esprit appear to be the same boat, both sharing similar profiles and styling features. Inside, however, the two models are very different with the 3270 boasting a traditional midcabin floorplan while the 3260 has a more open interior with no mid-berth area. Notably, the popularity of the midcabin floorplan kept the 3270 in production through the 1994 model year whereas the 3260 was dropped from the Cruiser’s lineup after just a couple of years. Both were built on a modified-V hull with integrated swim platforms and solid fiberglass construction. Below decks, there are berths for six in the midcabin 3270, while the 3260 model sleeps four. With nearly 11 feet of beam, these are fairly roomy boats below with good headroom and ventilation. The cockpits are the same in both, and the U-shaped seating behind the helm on the raised bridge deck is very unusual. With the standard Crusader gas engines, the Cruisers 3260/3270 Esprit models cruise at 18–20 knots and reach a top speed of 30 knots. Note that the 3270 uses V-drives, while straight drives are used in the 3260. With 250 gallons of fuel capacity, the 3260 has an additional 50 gallons over her sistership.
