One of the largest trailerable cruisers available, the 270 CR offers the proven blend of performance and value typical of late-model Crownline boats. Big trailerable boats are notoriously over-styled in an attempt to conceal their ungainly lines, but not so the 270 CR. Indeed, sleek styling is one of her more notable aspects (although no one is likely to confuse her for a pure-bred European sportboat). Built on a stable modified-V hull, the midcabin interior of the Crownline 270 CR includes a convertible V-berth/dinette forward, a compact galley, standup head with sink and shower, and a sizable aft cabin. Corian counters and cherry woodwork highlight the decor, and four opening ports provide adequate ventilation. In the cockpit, a wet bar is standard and the stern lounge seat—which lifts electrically for engine access—folds down to form a comfortable sun pad. Additional features include a double helm seat with flip-up bolsters, cockpit wet bar with removable cooler, snap-in cockpit carpet, and extended swim platform. A single 300hp Volvo sterndrive will cruise in the low 20s and reach a top speed of around 35 knots.
