The largest bowrider ever produced by Cobalt when she was introduced in 2014, the Cobalt 336 (called the R35 since 2017) combines the comforts of a high-end cruiser with the agility of a high-performance sportboat. Stay out longer, invite more friends, and steer toward open water — with a boat this large there are few limitations to your boating pleasure. The seating layout of the Cobalt 336 can accommodate as many as 10–12 people while underway. The bold styling is accented by panoramic side windows, and Cobalt’s signature rumble seat is built into the transom. Not surprisingly, the spacious cockpit of the 336 is loaded with premium features. At once snug and expansive, the cabin — which lies below the helm — is bright, open, and extremely well appointed. A 9-foot leather sofa seats three or four people and converts to a double berth for sleeping. Above, a cabinet houses a 32-inch HD television, DVD player, and play-station hookup. An enclosed head to port features a marine toilet, sink, and hand-held shower. Built on a smooth-running deep-V hull with moderate beam, Volvo 320hp I/Os deliver a top speed of nearly 40 knots.
