A strong-selling model, the Cobalt 302 has long ranked among the best in her class for quality, luxury, and performance. She was introduced in 2007 at a time when big (30-foot-plus) bowriders were just becoming popular. Beautifully styled and meticulously finished, her huge wraparound cockpit lounge—combined with a reversible companion seat—can seat 6–8 people in genuine comfort. Like all Cobalts, the 302 is loaded with sophisticated refinements like topstitched vinyl upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, molded-in hull graphics, and little touches such as speakers molded into the cockpit at precise angles for ideal acoustics all around. Standard features include an aft sun pad with walk-thru transom, air compressor, dinette cockpit table, enclosed head with sink and Porta-Potti, wet bar with refrigerator, trash bin, double helm and companion seats, thru-stem anchor system, scuff plate, and an extended swim platform with boarding ladder. Built on a Kevlar reinforced hull with a sharp bow entry and relatively high freeboard, twin 320hp 6.2L MerCruiser I/Os deliver a top speed of about 45 knots.
