Crisp styling, tasteful cabin accommodations, and excellent performance are the hallmarks of Chaparral’s Signature 330 (called the Signature 320 in 2003). This is an upscale family cruiser whose quality features and exemplary fit and finish are apparent to even inexperienced boaters. Built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides and generous beam, the 330’s main cabin is an appealing blend of cherrywood joinery, designer fabrics, and vinyl overheads. A wraparound lounge with a table forward converts to a big V-berth, and the 330’s private midcabin is notable for its partial standing headroom, entryway door, and built-in vanity with sink, mirror, and upholstered seat. The galley, with its faux-granite surfaces and stainless steel sink, has enough storage for a long weekend. In the cockpit, the centerline boarding door aft allows for an unusually guest-friendly seating layout. Additional features include a cockpit wet bar, dual transom lockers, a tiered, non-glare dash, generator, and an extended swim platform. Twin 300hp MerCruiser I/Os deliver a top speed in the range of 40 knots. This boat was replaced in 2011 with a new 330 Signature model.

A premium hardtop cruiser with distinctive lines, the Chaparral 330 Signature replaced the company’s previous 330 Signature built from 2003–09. Characterized by her sporty styling and luxury-class amenities, the layout of 310 differs from most cruisers her size in that there’s no portside bridge deck lounger. Instead, an extra-wide companion seat (with flip-up bolsters) sits next to the helm—a design that eases clutter around the companionway door. Note that a forward hardtop hatch allows standing access through the opening windshield—no banged heads going forward. Standard features include a fiberglass hardtop, cockpit wet bar, power engine compartment hatch, transom shower, transom gate, tilt steering, cockpit table, trim tabs, carry-on cooler, and a power sliding transom seat that converts into a full sun pad. Below deck, the 330’s stylish interior sleeps five and includes a midcabin privacy door, hardwood flooring, and an L-shaped sofa whose center seatback forms an extension of the berth. Built on a Kevlar reinforced hull, twin 300hp 5.7L MerCruiser I/Os cruise at 25 knots (38–40 knots top).
