With her graceful pilothouse styling, upscale accommodations, and excellent range the Carver 52 Voyager might well have become one of the best-selling boats in her class had she not been introduced at the height of the Great Recession. The Voyager’s profile is defined by sleek lines and distinctive design features such as large vertical hull ports and custom salon windows. Below, the galley is forward in the salon rather than on the pilothouse level as it is in many similar yachts. An L-shaped lounge is next to the centerline lower helm, and steps behind the helm lead up to the bridge. The pilothouse door is a plus—not all motor yachts this size have one—but rear visibility from the lower helm is compromised by the raised galley cabinets. There are three staterooms and two heads below including a full-beam master with washer/dryer cabinet and tub/shower in the private head. A walkaround queen berth is in the forward VIP stateroom, and the third guest stateroom's berths can convert to a sofa. Bow and stern thrusters are standard. Built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides and an integral swim platform, Volvo 675hp diesels cruise the 52 Voyager at 20–22 knots.
