Introduced in 2002, the Boston Whaler 275 Conquest is a quality midsize express for fishing, cruising, or entertaining. She was among the most expensive express boats her size during the early 2000s, and a spacious midcabin interior—with a real galley—made the 275 Conquest a popular choice for families. A wide 9'7"" beam allows for a large cockpit with more fishing space than most boats her size. Standard features include a molded bow pulpit with roller, anchor locker, lighted livewell, transom door, insulated in-deck fish boxes, tackle station with sink and cutting board, removable cooler, foldaway stern seat, raw-water washdown, cockpit bolsters, hardtop with rod holders, removable cooler, dive ladder, transom shower, windlass, gunnel rod holders (4), cockpit rod storage, and trim tabs. Below deck, the Conquest’s efficient midcabin interior sleeps four and includes a convertible dinette forward, full-service galley with refrigerator and microwave, rod storage, and standup head/shower with electric toilet. Wide side decks are a plus. No lightweight, twin 225hp Mercury outboards reach close to 40 knots wide open.
