A popular boat, the Bertram 510 Convertible reflects the Italian styling common to all late-model Bertram convertibles following the company’s 1998 acquisition by Ferretti Yachts. With her elliptical windows and sweeping curves, the 510 was a clear departure from the classic Bertram look. Retained, however, were the deep-V hull and large fishing cockpit long associated with the Bertram brand. Whether fishing or cruising, the 510 provides a versatile platform that meets the demands of the most avid yachtsman. Her three-stateroom cherrywood interior features a well-appointed salon with L-lounge seating to port and entertainment center to starboard. A full-service galley with Corian counters and Sub-Zero refrigeration is forward to port. Like most convertibles in her class, the master stateroom is amidships, and the VIP queen stateroom is forward. Both guest staterooms share a common head and shower. Note the rod storage locker in the salon overhead. The spacious cockpit of the Bertram 510 came standard with a transom fish box, and in-deck fish/storage box, tackle center with sink and livewell, and engine room access. MAN 1,050hp diesels cruise at 28–30 knots (low 30s top).
