The Azimut 39 Flybridge is an especially attractive small motoryacht with the sleek styling and impeccable detailing common to Azimut’s larger models. The market for flybridge yachts under 40 feet is small and will likely remain that way for a long time to come. For those drawn to her lower maintenance costs and ease of handling, however, the Azimut 39 has much to offer. The main salon offers two comfortable sofas and a hi-fi system concealed in an elegant cabinet. Glossy cherry wood paneling and Italian leather are found throughout the yacht, and double elliptical windows bathe the entire salon in sunlight. Up two steps from the salon and to starboard is the helm station, and down three steps to port is the galley with cherry cabinets and a teak and holly sole. The forward master stateroom has an island queen berth and private head with stall shower, and the guest stateroom—opposite the galley—has side-by-side berths and access to the day head. The flybridge is small but features an oasis of sun pad cushions for relaxing. Generous side decks and a staircase to the flybridge make getting around easy. Cat 350hp diesels cruise the Azimut 39 at 24–26 knots (nearly 30 top).
