A popular boat, the Albemarle 305 Express (called the 310 Express beginning in 2004) is a tournament-level fishing machine with a huge cockpit and the eye appeal of a custom boat. Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and at over 15,000 pounds the 305/310 is built like a small tank compared with most boats in her class. Aside from her rugged construction, the chief asset of the 305/310 Express is her large tournament-class cockpit with its full array of premium fishing features including split tackle centers, generous livewell capacity, removable fish boxes, transom door, and copious storage. A center helm position, flanked by twin bench settees, provides 360-degree visibility, and the entire bridge deck lifts for engine access. Below deck, the Albemarle’s teak-trimmed interior includes a slant double berth forward and a settee to port that converts into upper and lower berths. The galley, complete with refrigerator and microwave, is on the aft bulkhead. Note the cabin rod storage racks. Both the interior and helm layouts were updated in 2004. Cat 350hp diesels cruise the Albemarle 305/310 in the high 20s (close to 30 knots top).
