53rd Annual Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament
August 12, 2020 - August 15, 2020
In 1968, three local businessmen and avid anglers started the state’s first Blue Marlin Tournament. These men continued this tournament and fostered it to become the state’s longest running tournament. Many firsts in bill fishing were started right here at the Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament. Over the years there have been many changes, but other aspects have remained the same throughout the tournament’s history. The successful fishing, the tradition of full service by crew and staff, and the camaraderie on the dock have made this tournament a favorite among participants. Lots of history has been made in Georgetown, and more will be made during the 53rd Annual Blue Marlin Tournament.
