Rory was born and raised in South Florida and brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and expertise to the HMY Yachts team. Prior to joining HMY, Rory spent 10 years as a yacht broker at one of the most respected yacht brokerage firms in South Florida.
Utilizing his skills for service after the sale, and maintaining strong relationships, Rory has built a very successful repeat and referral business. Most of Rory’s clients return to him and have purchased multiple boats from him over the years, which is a true testament to his steadfast devotion to customer service.
A true waterman, Rory spent summers as a young man exploring the waters in the Abacos, fishing in the Bahamas, diving, and learning about being on the water. Rory later went on to work on yachts for 13 years, traveling extensively to destinations such as Mexico, St. Thomas, Venezuela, Bermuda, and throughout the Bahamas on board yachts of all shapes and sizes. Rory began his sales career at Bluewater Chairs and Pompanette, where he further expanded upon his vast marine knowledge and network of resources, ultimately becoming a Yacht Broker.
Rory’s combined experience in yachting and sales has allowed him to provide the highest level of service to his clients. Having represented and sold some of the finest yachts on the market, Rory is a proven leader in this business.
