Recap: The 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show just wrapped up and we are pleased to say it was another successful show. We saw the largest boat-buying crowd at this year’s show than years past. Some exciting highlights from this years show include the United States premier of the Arcadia 85, the premier of three new exciting Vikings: the Viking 92, the 75 Motor Yacht and the 52 Sport Tower as well as our first year representing Cruisers Yachts. HMY SuperYachts, a division of HMY Yachts, is proud to be the North American Representative for Arcadia Yachts. Arcadia Yachts is a luxury yacht and superyacht builder based in the town of Torre Annunziata in the Gulf of Naples. Arcadia has built a strong reputation in the industry by building high-end luxury yachts with innovative technology and cutting edge design while remaining committed to the environment with their eco-friendly approach. The Arcadia 85 received exceptional welcome at the show for her unique design and cutting edge eco-friendly elements such as the roof of solar panels. There was a party and press conference during the show to celebrate her premier. They introduced their new flagship, the Viking 92, the latest Viking 75 Motor Yacht and the premier of the Viking 52 Sport Tower. The Viking 92 was a huge hit as she premiered at this years FLIBS- the largest vessel in the Viking fleet stopped boat show visitors in their tracks. The 75 Motor Yacht saw record traffic at the show, as she rightfully should! The 75 Motor Yacht is the first motor yacht built by Viking since 2001 and she is a beauty. Lastly, and most certainly not least, the Viking 52 Sport Tower was a favorite among fishermen attending the show. HMY Yachts is excited to be a new dealer for Cruisers Yachts and we had a very successful first Fort Lauderdale Boat Show representing this remarkable brand.
