Designed with relaxation and entertainment in mind, the charming salon of the Astondoa GLX offers a large couch with two armchairs to port, and two additional armchairs to starboard, as well as a service bar in the aft starboard corner. As you move throughout the rest of this vessel, you will notice meticulous attention to detail was applied to the design process with inlaid marquetry and mother of pearl accents greeting you at every turn.
Dining and Galley
Forward of the salon is an elegant dining area separated from the salon by marble columns and gold-leaf wood details. An etched, art deco glass door offers direct access to the Astondoa 95’ GLX’s well-equipped and enclosed galley that was completely upgraded in 2012. The galley features Bosch and Sub-Zero stainless-steel appliances and offers an entry door leading out to deck for easy crew accessibility whether guests are located in the interior or exterior. Moving back to the main dining area, a matching door opposite the galley opens to a marble-floored passage leading to the day head, office/theater room, and staircases to below deck and the pilothouse.
Office and Theater
The well-balanced, comfortable, and spacious office and theater room on the main deck of this Astondoa 95’ offers a private space for movie buffs and workaholics alike. Equipped with a 46” Samsung 3D DVD /blueray player, a BOSE surround system, and KVH Satellite Direct TV, you’ll never miss a beat aboard “Crazy Love.” This multi-purpose room has a curved and built-in desk that serves as a dedicated work space, so you can enjoy the conveniences of a home office away from home. Even when you are not working or watching TV, the natural light streaming in to this room from windows on both sides and the skylight, creates a relaxing atmosphere where you can find solace at any time during your travels.
Sky Lounge
Quite possibly one of the most unique features of European motor yacht “Crazy Love” is the fully air-conditioned sky lounge offering 360 views throughout. The sky lounge serves as an ideal spot for sunset cocktails with comfortable seating and dining areas aft and additional seating to port and to starboard. Even after the sun goes down, you and your guests can stay for more than just sunset cocktails. A wet bar with a U-line wine refrigerator, U-line clear ice maker, and U-line beverage refrigerator can remain fully stocked with your favorite libations, so you can enjoy dinner and drinks surrounded by the stars. For days when weather permits, the aft isinglass enclosure may be removed for a more open feel, while a 19’ AB tender is also stored on the boat deck aft for easy transport to and from shore.
Accommodations
Descending down the stairs of this 2001 Astondoa 95’ GLX, an 18th century white marble “Le Printemps” statue in her own vestibule welcomes you below deck, where three luxuriously appointed staterooms offer accommodations for up to six guests. A full beam master is bright, spacious, and boasts a king size berth. With full his and hers marble heads, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower, and his and her closets, there is plenty of storage in the master, ideal for those with open-ended travel plans. An equally elegant and spacious VIP double cabin is located forward and features a centerline queen berth with an en-suite marble bathroom, large shower, and two closets. The third stateroom, to starboard, offers twin berth accommodations with an en-suite marble head.
Located forward, with a separate entrance at the bow, are a double cabin for crew, and a separate captain’s cabin, each with crew heads.
