A South Florida native, Chris Burgos developed a love for the ocean at an early age. Balancing high school and a part-time job, he saved enough to buy his first outboard boat, spending his days fishing and free diving in Biscayne Bay and the Keys.
Chris’s passion for the water inspired him to pursue a maritime career. He earned his 25-ton captain’s license while working for TowBoatUS in Miami and quickly advanced, earning his 200-ton master captain’s license by the age of 25.
With extensive experience navigating the East Coast, Bahamas, and the Florida Keys, Chris transitioned to yacht sales, where he now connects clients with their ideal vessels. Joining HMY Yachts in 2024, Chris brings his maritime expertise, dedication, and love for the ocean to every client relationship.
