V85 Express Yachts

Like all yachts in the Viking Sport Cruisers V series, the V85’s hull is slightly deeper in its V shape than the motor yacht range, boasting 21 degrees of deadrise at the transom for optimum speed and razor sharp handling.

While technically the V85 is considered an express yacht, at first glance there is an important distinction from typical express yachts in this size range. Unique to this class of yacht in this size, a small flybridge sits atop the hardtop of the V85 just aft of the electro-hydraulic opening sunroof over the salon. Cleverly designed so as not to be a prominent feature in the overall profile, this convenient arrangement features a comfortable seating area and centerline helm with terrific visibility that is ideal when docking or running in tight quarters. On the main deck, tender storage is made convenient by means of the large garage with built-in winch and roller system for ease of launching and retrieving. Dual integrated transom stairways lead to the expansive aft deck with its comfortable U-shaped dining area and built-in, fully equipped bar area. The gleaming stainless steel-framed salon door opens wide to join the aft deck with the main salon area. Here, seating is arranged for both conversation and ease of viewing the entertainment center. A large dinette forward lies adjacent to the helm to take advantage of the panoramic views over the bow, while a bar area is centrally located aft of the helm and features a built-in refrigerator as well as dedicated bottle and glass stowage. At the touch of a button, the large retractable hardtop slides back to let the fresh air in while tinted skylights provide plenty of natural light from above when the top is in the closed position.
