There are many different qualities that shape a Grand Banks yacht and distinguish it from any other: the heritage of the company, the quality and craftsmanship you find on board, and the people who bring exceptional skill and experience to every boat they build. These qualities blend to forge the finest and most luxurious cruising yachts available in the world today.
Grand Banks began its journey in 1956 as American Marine, Ltd. Originally, the company was a custom boatyard in Hong Kong, building heavy sailboats and big motoryachts to designs by the world’s top marine architects – Sparkman & Stephens, William Garden, Nat Herreshoff, Ray Hunt and others. Over the past 40 years, Robert W. “Bob” Livingston and his family have guided the growth of Grand Banks’ trawler-style yachts into a global icon of quality and reliability.
