Viking has become the global leader when it comes to building quality sportfishing yachts and motoryachts. Founded in the early 1960's by Bob and Bill Healey, Viking built its vessels much like Carolina builders, assembling the boats on frames at intervals throughout the manufacturing facility. By 1972 they were already working on the first all-fiberglass model, the Viking 33C, and building their way into history as one of the finest yacht brands in the world.
Viking quickly grew into a major U.S.-based yacht builder in less than a decade. In the 80's, Viking acquired Gulfstar Yachts in Florida whose designs were considered by many to be some of the best in the industry, and incorporated new innovations that would change the sportfishing market forever. Re-investing with their own money in the early 90's, the brand has been on top of the world ever since.
Viking Yachts does most of its manufacturing in-house which results in an unparalleled level of quality control from concept to finished yacht, which has helped it maintain an untouchable reputation with Viking owners.
The innovative technology such as advanced resin infusion for the tankage and engine-room vent, industry-leading flying bridge advances, tuna towers, forward and aft bait stations, outriggers and more has helped keep the Viking brand at the top of the game. In 2010, they unveiled their new pod drive system and a new series of engines rated at over 2,600 hp at the Miami Boat Show, to keep the performance on par with their striking look and aggressive rake.
Today the Healey brothers still preside over the company, maintaining the quality brand that Viking has come to represent for over half a century. Their 600,000+ square-foot development and manufacturing facility is state-of-the-art, housing over 1,400 employees crafting the finest yachts on the market.

When I met Babb Rawlings, it didn't take long to realize I could count on him due to a series of events that made Babb a standout individual and an incredibly knowledgeable broker. Babb helped me buy an excellent 65 foot Princess motor Yacht - not evading or deflecting from any difficult situation or question, and miraculously, he simultaneously sold my Chris Craft Express Cruiser at the same time. It certainly was a pleasure doing business with Babb and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Overall we have to say a big ‘Thank you' to HMY, Nery and especially William. William is great to work with, he withstood our ‘pressure' very well and managed to guide us through our first time boat buying experience professionally and very friendly and helpful at the same time. He certainly went the extra mile(s) it takes to make a deal like this a great experience. The time will come and we are back in the market for an upgrade, who knows when, but William will be our first guy to call, so HMY better make sure they treat him well!

As the head of a Regional Home building company I often only get to hear from customers when there is an issue that can't be resolved. I seldom get communication from customers when there's not an issue and thought you should hear from a customer and friend about the exceptional customer service provided by Yvonne, Nicole and Carmela. We had a change of plans Monday evening and the weekend of the Rendezvous was open. I got in touch with Yvonne on Tuesday and she took care of the registration and put me in touch with Nicole and Carmela and we're signed up for the excursions and have the itinerary in hand.

My experience with HMY and the Viking Service department has been Amazing! The level of support and service I have received from Pat Kelly, Mike Samuels and Captain Steve Campbell have made what otherwise would be a horrific experience manageable, and I would not consider buying my next vessel from anyone other than HMY. I'm seriously considering trading up to the Viking 52. Nonetheless, I just wanted to tell you that you have an incredible team!

I just want to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased I am with the service department headed by Steve Campbell. I have never in all my years wrote a letter like this telling the boss what a great devoted staff he has. Billie, Jimmy and of course Steve C. It is a pleasure doing business with you.

I would like to express my appreciation for the superb job Tony Maggio did on selling the Bertram. Tony went above and beyond the call of duty making sure the boat was ready for sea trial and survey, and all through the process. I look forward to a continued, successful relationship with Tony and the HMY team.

Thank you for all of your hard work, Brian! Truly was the best boat buying experience we have ever had. Mom wanted me to tell you thank you very much for all of the gifts and her pink visor! Great experience working with you!

The buyer's agent needs to be incredible not just good. This buyer's agent in my opinion needs to be in the top 1% of brokers. The cream of the crop. The person I have had this experience with is Mark Egan of HMY Yachts. He is an A+++ broker. Mark has an almost magical way of understanding your desires and making them materialize. He is there to serve you, but keeps an even “keel” and uses no pressure to get you to do anything that you do not want to do. He truly wants to make sure that you end up with a boat that you want and for a price that is negotiated down as low as possible.
