The Riviera 5800 has never been seen in the United States, an HMY potential buyer has been invited by Riviera and HMY to visit the factory for an inspection and sea trial. Sea trials have been arranged post show for the 45, 47 and 51 flybridge models.
HMY yachts at Viking and Viking Sport Cruisers were not to be outdone. In addition to steady sales of the larger Viking models, HMY saw a tremendous increase in activity with the 45′ through 68′ models, a nice change from recent months. Inventory levels are pretty low right now, but we’re restocking with 2010 models arriving every week. The new Viking models reinforce the factory’s goal to build a better boat.

Viking Sport Cruisers also had steady crowds and better sales than last year. With six new models introduced, ranging from 42’ up to 130′, there was plenty of interest and a number of orders for future delivery. Viking Sport Cruisers is expanding their product line, increasing production, pricing aggressively and grabbing more market share. Brokerage sales included the opening day sale of the 65′ Lady Jan by Jim Kelly with strong leads and sea trials scheduled on a number of brokerage boats in the weeks to come and the HMY offerings included an extensive showing of 16 additional yachts at the Dania location.
