The signature event of the HMY – Miami Dolphins Partnership was a huge success for HMY. Lots of work including a myriad of details ranging from road clearance to bomb sweeps, coupled with a hefty dose of partying with Dolphins’ legends, left everyone exhausted but with a positive outlook for sales results directly related to this event.

Two Dolphins fans of the many who stepped on the Tiara 3200 Open and the Tiara 4300 Sovran made offers on HMY yachts and have become HMY customers!

Tiara staff from Sales and Marketing, to the road crew, pitched in above and beyond the call of duty delivering their respective boats ahead of schedule and positioning them without so much as a second attempt. Our Dolphins’ partners came through time and time again with last minute requests and made the entire HMY team feel right at home, even providing sideline access for some spectacular photos of Dolphins’ legends during the halftime ceremony and future Dolphins’ greats during the live action.

Friday’s Alumni Gala Party and Auction provided up close and personal interaction with Dolphins’ greats including Don Shula, Dan Marino, Nat Moore, The Marks Brothers (Clayton and Duper) and other legendary members of the 1982 and ‘84 AFC Championship teams. Good natured ribbing, fond memories and thoughtful retrospective gave the HMY team a rare glimpse into the special bond this group of Dolphins’ players enjoy decades after their on-field heroics.

HMY’s golf threesome consisting of Mike Strassel, Jeff Creary and Pat “The Ringer” Kelly almost stole the show leading the pack till late with a score of 61 and an adjusted net of 56.8 for fourth place. The winning foursome consisted of a Dolphins’ celebrity, two teaching pros and a Nike Tour player. Pat delivered birdie putts of 41′, 35′, 32′, 30′ and an uphill snake from 18 feet. Mike Strassel called the shot a miracle! Jeff and Mike are proud to carry PK’s bag from here on!
