HMY Boat Harbour BillfishBlast
Time: 5:00 pm
2010 Marks the 11th Anniversary of the BILLFISH BLAST! The 2008 Billfish Blast incorporated several changes to the tournament’s layout, including the addition of a mandatory lay day. In conjunction with the lay day, several side-competitions were introduced to promote participation in tournament related onshore events such as a Boat Harbour Iron Chef Competition and a Bloody Mary Contest, both of which received strong positive feedback and show great potential to grow over the next few years. Also new to the tournament was the use of all video verification, which proves to be a much more reliable source of verification as to the fish species and angler’s adherence to the tournament’s rules and regulations.
